Bart was curator at Walker Art Center who did an extraordinary exhibition that reverberated through the creative community here in Minneapolis.
He also made significant contribution to International Pop an exhibition that also shook the rafters ( with Darsie Alexander then chief curator).
Pamela GAARD ( my spouse) and I painted Bart simultaneously and he’s acquired these portraits for his own collection for which we are both grateful. Knowing Bart has been a blessing and a special treat.
